Local Rules

Local Rules
  1. Out of Bounds (Rule 27.1)
    A ball finishing to the left of the white posts on the left hand side of the 2nd hole. A ball finishing to the right of the white posts on the right hand side of the second hole.
    PLEASE NOTE under no circumstances whatsoever must players cross the boundary which borders the golf course.
  2. Water Hazards (Rule 26.1)
    1. The pond on the 2nd hole marked with yellow posts.
    2. The ditch to the right of the 1st hole marked with red posts (lateral water hazard).
    3. The ditch to the left of the 8th green marked with red posts (lateral water hazard).
  3. Ground Under Repair (Rule 25.1)
    Relief MUST be taken from:
    1. Newly planted trees (marked by stakes or protected by wire guards) that interfere with the players' stance or the area of his/her intended swing.
    2. All areas marked GUR.
    Relief MAY be taken from:
    1. Animal scrapes, tractor ruts, unrepaired coursework.
  4. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24.2)
    1. All roads and paths are immovable obstructions.
    2. All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained.
  5. Movable Obstructions (Rule 24.1)
    1. Stones in bunkers.
  6. Priority
    Players starting their round should where necessary alternate with those players who have already played nine and are about to play their second nine.
  7. Other
    In friendly play, players are requested to take line of sight relief to protect young trees.

Penalty for breach of local rules
Match play - loss of hole; Stroke play - two strokes

Visitors

Visitors to the course are welcome but are asked to observe the following etiquette:

  1. Please replace all divots and repair all pitch marks.
  2. Please rake or smooth over the sand in bunkers after playing out, leave it as you would like to find it.
  3. DO NOT practice swing on the tees, practice on the course.
  4. DO NOT drop litter on the course.
  5. Avoid slow play by letting players through as and when necessary.
  6. Trolleys are not allowed on the tees, greens or aprons.

Failure to observe the above may result in a player being asked to leave the course.
